“Serendipity” pattern

“Serendipity” is a lovely study of Diagonal, Traditional and String Art stitches. I started playing and I saw an abstract garden starting to form. Stitches include Chilly Hollow, various Jessicas, Fleur de Lis, a variety of Crescents, Wheat Sheaf, Rose stitches and a layered border. This is a fun piece to stitch and the student is introduced to Intermediate and Advanced stitches while exploring fun techniques. The project is stitched using Finca #5, #8, #12 Perle Cotton, DMC #5 , #8 Perle Cotton, Rainbow Gallery Neon Rays +, Very Velvet, Fyre Werks, Vineyard Silk, and Kreinik #8 and #12 Braid. The colour palette is Teals and Purples.
