Nautilus

“Nautilus” is made up of 13 different Diaper and Laid Filling patterns using 1 or more threads for each pattern. Each Pattern is built on an 18 mesh x 18 mesh square. The spiral shape is inlaid over the grid boxes; and then, you will complete additional overlaid stitches within squares. The subtle swirl in the centre is also enhanced with couching. Techniques include Tramé and Trellis, Diaper Patterns, and Laid Fillings. The entire piece is further embellished with Kreinik Metallics. This class will appeal to those who want to expand their knowledge of canvaswork stitches and techniques while enjoying the experience of stitching a piece of wall art.
