Evangeline

“Evangeline” is a lovely study of diagonal, traditional and string art stitches. This is a great opportunity for students to try different threads and to see firsthand the versatility of some of these stitches. Some are old favourites and others will be brand new. The piece is surrounded by a layered border to give the piece a finished look which is done as Prework. Stitches explored will include Chilly Hollow, a variety of Jessicas, a multitude of Crescents, Theresicas and layered Double Fans.  A variety of metallic threads, Overdyed Perle Cotton, Silk and Rainbow Gallery threads are used.
